Since 1996 I am a proud owner of a XRV 750 RD04. Year of construction is 1991 (not mine, the bike's ;-). For the first large Tour 1998 to Volos in Greece I bought a Hepco Becker luggagecarrier and a set of Hepco Becker Junior cases, additionally a tank back bag with sidebags. Later in that year I fitted a set of Motad crashbars.

After a ride to the 6th ATIC Meeting in Glarus Swizerland I changed the tires from Dunlop K 460/560 to Bridgestones TW 47/48. In 1999 I bought a Garmin GPS 3 and in 2002 a Garmin GPS 5 from Touratech incl. a handlebar adapter. I tested this set on a ride to Corsica and Sardegna.

For the trip to the ATIC Millenium Meeting 2000 in France, I bought a Psion mx5pro handheld to save trip-data, waypoints and routes and for easyer editing of tours. In the same Year I changed the Hepco-Becker cases for aluminium cases from Touratech. Additionally I exchanged the original handgards with Acerbis handgards.

Since 2001 I own a set of heated grips from Louis and a chain oiler from Hein Gericke tested on a trip to the pyrenaen mountains and the Dolomites. Believe it or not, i used the heated grips on the 13th ATiC Meeting Calabria/Italy in La Sila at 1800m and rainy weather.

For a trip to the Vosges in fall 2003 i mounted a high windshield. During the winter i enjoyed it but the turbulences were to heavy. So i changed back to the original windshield in spring 2004 which was a good decision due to the temperatures in Greece. I also used a Throttle Rocker for the long distance over the german autobahn toward the sunny south.
